'''Sushil Sureshrao Narole''' (born September 1984) is an Indian social worker and community development advocate based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is the Founder and President of Sobera Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation focused on community welfare, education, support for vulnerable people, and the promotion of dignity and opportunity.

Narole's social work interests include farmer welfare, rural education, mental health awareness, rehabilitation-related initiatives, women's empowerment, and assistance for disadvantaged communities. His vision emphasises compassion, organised community action, and improving access to educational and social opportunities.

== Early life and inspiration ==

Sushil Sureshrao Narole was born in September 1984 in Yavatmal district, Maharashtra, India. His early experiences in the region influenced his understanding of the challenges faced by rural communities and farming families.

According to his biographical account, witnessing agrarian distress and the difficulties experienced by farmers and their families encouraged his interest in social service. He sought to raise awareness of farmers' challenges and provide financial assistance and emotional support to people facing hardship, according to his capacity.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also made efforts to assist farmers and other people experiencing difficulties. These experiences reinforced his belief that social service should address not only material needs but also emotional well-being, dignity, and opportunities for a better future.

== Education and social work ==

Narole completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) to strengthen his professional prospects and support his family's financial responsibilities. He has completed a Master of Social Work (MSW), complementing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and strengthening his understanding of social challenges and community development, reflecting his interest in understanding social challenges and developing a structured approach to community service.

He believes that professional responsibilities and social commitment can complement each other. His interests include rural development, education, community support, and the welfare of disadvantaged people.

== Sobera Foundation ==

Narole established Sobera Foundation as a platform for organising social initiatives and reaching communities in need. The organisation is based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, and is described as a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation.

The Foundation's stated mission is to support people experiencing crises, addiction-related challenges, and social or economic hardship while promoting a more dignified and meaningful life.

Its areas of focus include:

* Education and rural educational development
* Mental health awareness and support
* Rehabilitation-related initiatives
* Assistance for underprivileged and homeless people
* Women's empowerment
* Healthcare awareness
* Community welfare
* Disaster relief

The Foundation's guiding values are '''Humanity, Dignity, and Service'''. Its approach emphasises identifying community needs, developing practical initiatives, and collaborating with relevant individuals and organisations.

== Vision for rural education ==

A key part of Narole's long-term vision is improving educational opportunities for children in rural communities. He believes that students attending rural government schools should have opportunities to develop their knowledge, confidence, and abilities regardless of their family's financial circumstances or place of residence.

His educational vision focuses on reducing the gap between rural and urban learning opportunities by encouraging access to learning resources, digital education, and supportive educational environments.

== Vidya Deepa – AI Teacher ==

Sobera Foundation is planning an educational initiative called '''Vidya Deepa – AI Teacher''' in collaboration with technology partner SPR AI EDUTECH.

The proposed initiative aims to support teaching and learning in rural government schools through artificial intelligence-based educational resources. According to the current project plan, the target is to reach 100 rural government schools over 12 months, subject to funding, necessary approvals, school participation, and implementation arrangements.

Planned learning areas include:

* Mathematics
* Science
* English
* Examination preparation
* Digital learning

The initiative is intended to support teachers and enhance students' learning experiences rather than replace classroom teachers. Its broader objective is to improve access to educational resources and help rural students strengthen their knowledge and confidence.

== Women's empowerment and community development ==

Women's empowerment is another area of Narole's social vision. He hopes to support initiatives that encourage women to recognise their abilities, build confidence, develop practical skills, and pursue greater social and economic independence.

He also intends to explore further initiatives related to healthcare awareness, education, community welfare, and support for families experiencing hardship.

Through Sobera Foundation, his long-term aspiration is to develop practical responses to community challenges and expand opportunities for vulnerable groups through collaboration and organised social initiatives.

== Philosophy and values ==

Narole's approach to social service is guided by the belief that compassion should be accompanied by consistent effort, responsibility, and organised action. His experiences in Yavatmal district and his concern for farming families continue to influence his interest in rural development and community welfare.

He believes that every individual deserves dignity, access to opportunities, and the chance to work towards a better future. His philosophy places emphasis on meaningful assistance and community impact rather than personal recognition.
